With that said, we had a quick chat with the guys at Stash Breweries ahead of the festival:

How excited are you guys to be part of Capital Craft Beer Festival 2019?

All of us at Stash Breweries are extremely excited to be a part of Capital Craft Beer Festival 2019. It is an honour to be a part of the festival and to be among all of the amazing breweries attending this year.

What beers are you bringing to the festival? And which are you most excited to serve to the people?

We will be bringing all 6 of our production beers to the festival this year. These beer include the following:

1.) Sellout – 4.5 % Lager

2.) Day Drinker – 4% Summer Ale (Golden Ale)

3.) Outsider – 5% Amber Ale

4.) Crowdsurfer – 4.5% Session IPA

5.) Saviour – 5% American Pale Ale

6.) Street fighter – 7.5% Imperial IPA

If we had to choose a favourite that we are excited to serve, it would probably be our Imperial IPA (Streetfighter)

What makes a craft beer festival such a rad jol for you?

Being able to taste such a massive variety of delicious beers at a single event is definitely key for a great time for every beer lover.

Which of the other brewers are you keen on having a few beers with at the festival?

We at Stash Breweries hope to have a few beers with all the brewers attending the festival. We are looking forward to trying out everyone’s beers and getting the opportunity to chat directly to the brewers about their beers.

Why should people have a few beers at your stall at Capital Craft Beer Festival 2019?

Being a relatively new brewery in the craft beer scene, not many people have had the opportunity to try our beers out yet. We believe we have some unique tasting beers that we think the people will enjoy.

Why do you think craft beer festivals are a necessity in South Africa?

Craft festivals are pivotal in South Africa because they give an opportunity to the public to taste a vast variety of craft beers in one place, that they would otherwise not have had the opportunity to taste. A lot of fans are created at festivals.
