Hello Ambassador is Pretoria’s very own creative conference. Happening over a period of 2 days, #HA2014 will feature talks from industry experts, a creative expo, a mini street festival and an epic after party!

Now that we have your full and undivided attention, listen up! #HA2014 will be taking place next week (17-18 October 2014) at the Pretoria State Theatre. The conference is a must for anyone involved in the creative/marketing/photography industry, as you’ll be treated to the following speakers:

Roger Ballen (Photographer & Artist), Abey Mokgwatsane (CEO – Ogilvy & Mather SA), Tim Horwood (Creative Director – Viacom, Channel Director – MTV Base), Jana+Koos, Louis Minnaar (Director, Animator, Designer, Illustrator, Musician), Liam Lynch (Photographer), Mariana O’Kelly (Co-Executive Creative Director – Ogilvy and Mather SA), Kagiso Lediga (Actor, Comedian, Writer, Producer), Kojo Baffoe, Michelle Constant, Michael Leslie, Uno de Waal, Mike Sharman (Co-founder – Retroviral, Webfluential) and many more industry experts.

The creative expo will assist local brands and companies in promoting their inspired products and services by providing them with trading spaces. There will also be a design competition for emerging creatives. Conference goers will also be treated to a shuweet street festival featuring live graffiti, break-dancing, beatboxing, and an open-mic stage on the 18th of October.

And of course, there’s an after-party!

The after-party for Hello Ambassador 2014 will take place at a brand new venue, The Sheds. It’s a revamped warehouse located on Helen Joseph street (formerly Church street) opposite the SA Reserve bank. The After-party will start at 6 PM on the 18th and will be free to conference-goers. Entrance will cost R80 for the general public.

The After Party will also include AV shows, skate jams, experimental performances, open mic sessions and more…

Tickets are available at Computicket and range from R250 to R600. Discount options are available to scholars, students and block bookings of ten or more people. We’ll be giving away one general ticket for the conference (both days), and it’ll also include entrance to the after party.
