Darkwing Duck was the coolest of the cool, he had his own original series and action figures that could shoot plastic ammunition and also had a removable hat.

Darkwing Duck was produced by the Walt Disney Company and ran – This is going to make you feel very old – from 1991 till 1992 and had a few reruns years later. The most interesting aspect from this whole series was that everything was a parody; the characters, villains and gadgets that he used, hell even the city was a parody of Gotham. The cartoon was a spin-off of DuckTales which I didn’t know at all, Launchpad McQuack – the sidekick to Darkwing – played in one DuckTales episode as a secret agent.

Enough facts and useless info; Darkwing Duck was one of my favourite Saturday morning cartoons, I used to get up early, pour myself a ‘healthy’ bowl of Choco’s and sit in my Darkwing Duck PJ’s while watching this show, with my Darkwing Duck action figure next to me…I was quite the little fan boy back then.
