“Just try to think of it as a game. It’ll help.”

Here’s the first trailer for Pandemic, a new post-apocalyptic found footage horror movie that stars Rachel Nichols (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Continuum), Mekhi Phifer (8 Mile), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), and Missi Pyle (Galaxy Quest). It’s shot in a first person POV found footage style, the music in the trailer is a bit kakkas, but hopefully it won’t be the same in the movie. The movie reminds us a little bit of a Dying Light; first person, zombies and a lot of jumps.

Pandemic is set in the near future, where a virus of epic proportions has overtaken the planet. There are more infected than uninfected, and humanity is losing its grip on survival. Its only hope is finding a cure and keeping the infected contained. Lauren (Rachel Nichols) is a doctor, who, after the fall of New York, comes to Los Angeles to lead a team to hunt for and rescue uninfected survivors.

Pandemic hits theaters on April 1st.
